The Candidate is pleased to announce the second year of their partnership with The Chartered Institute of Marketing, exclusively sponsoring their North West regional based events across 2017/2018. In continued recognition of the region’s skills shortage within marketing, it’s an important area of focus for both CIM and The Candidate, helping to develop the talent of tomorrow across the region and beyond.
The events provide ongoing learning on topical marketing areas for both CIM members and non-members, with great advice on improving the way they approach their marketing activities. The Candidate will have representation at each of the events, offering career support and guidance along with the opportunity to discuss current relevant job opportunities.
CIM works with all levels of marketer, from those entering the marketing industry, through to director level and the entire marketing sector. Holding the title of the biggest professional body, they offer a range of benefits and support to members. These include professional development courses, accreditations, qualifications, networking and bespoke assistance to maximise marketing output.
In order to represent the differing levels of skillset and knowledge within the marketing sector, the events are categorised in 3 levels being Explore, Excel and Evolve:
Explore – entry level for those at the beginning of their marketing career i.e. graduates, students, SMEs
Evolve – those who are keen to develop their marketing skills; SMEs, students, practitioners etc.
Excel – those looking for further their knowledge and take the next step up, more in-depth understanding, practitioners, senior managers, lecturers etc.
Our first year of sponsorship was a real success for all involved and some of the highlights were the Code Computerlove event, that included a showcase of this digital agency, and M&S Money. , who gave an insight into effective key marketing activities that have helped them become a leading financial brand.
