Research reveals half of businesses recruiting up to 10 analysts in the next 3 years

RESEARCH REVEALS that the Marketing Analytics Sector is growing rapidly in the North West with half of businesses recruiting up to 10 analysts in the next 3 years.

The Candidate recruitment agency specialises in Marketing, Digital, Creative and Analytics recruitment and commissioned this research to investigate the current state of the Marketing Analytics Sector in the North West of England. They surveyed 35 senior industry heads from dominant regional businesses including in house and agency across a variety of sectors including eCommerce, Marketing and Finance as well as others.

The independent research on marketing analytics carried out this year found that there is an unprecedented amount of growth predicted in the Marketing Analytics sector next 3 to 5 years.

It found that the length of the recruitment process is directly linked to the experience required, with 37% saying a recruit with over 5 years’ experience could take over 4 months.

The research found that whilst a degree in a relevant field is advantageous, the most common route to this career is an analytical mind.

26% of respondents said that there has been no analytics team 3 years ago. Most demonstrated a more steady growth with 1 – 2 heads per year.

22.86% of respondents anticipated a growth of 4- 6 people and 25.71% expected growth of 7 – 10 people in the next 3 years.
