The Candidate has picked up the Regional Agency of The Year accolade at this year’s Marketing and Recruitment Awards in London after being nominated alongside 6 other of the UK’s regional players.

It also complements its other successes at the awards which include winning Recruitment Consultant of the Year in both 2013 and 2015, and Recruitment Boss of the Year in 2016. The string of successes is a testament to the ongoing commitment the agency has for developing talent in the region and offering a market leading recruitment service in the marketing industry.

Long established links with Salford University and Manchester Metropolitan University sees the agency work closely with students to develop their skills in the workplace, both at The Candidate and with client’s intern and placement opportunities across the region. It has continued its sponsorship of key industry events including SAScon and all of CIM North’s events where the candidate attends each session and advises students on developing their career. Involving itself in charity work, Managing Partner Colin Telford continues his role as Treasurer of The Educational Trust that offers bursaries to students involved in professional marketing qualifications.
