MPA Chinese New Year Networking Event

The Manchester Publicity Association (MPA) are hosting their annual Chinese New Year networking event at Yang Sing this lunchtime! We had a chat with Cindy Simmons, the MD of MPA, to find out more information about the exciting event and MPA’s planned events in the future.

Where did the idea for the event originate from?

The Yang Sing and the MPA are strong icons of Manchester so we thought it would be a perfect idea that the two businesses teamed together to host a fun event at an exciting time of the year.

Why did you decide to host the event during Chinese New Year?

Chinese New Year is a strong tradition and fun occasion which has been celebrated in Manchester’s China Town for years; it is a perfect time to celebrate something of this nature in our city.

What can guests take away from the event?

Guests will take away new friends and connections in the Creative Digital and Media Community that the MPA represents.

What other events will the MPA be hosting this year?

We are hosting several events this year, a key event is Thrive, a mindfulness and wellbeing conference which will be hosted in May, and we also have our traditional MPA events such as the MPA awards and the MPA Christmas party. For all our events click here.
