A Front-end Developer’s role in a creative environment is to manage and be responsible for the main part of the website which is the area the user sees and interacts with which requires great visual and user engagement known as the UI cand UX design. They will work closely with Graphic Designers and collaborate closely with the team to produce responsive designs in a bid to maximise the branding and functionality of the website. They will work to ensure there is optimal response and conversion from the website activity and that it seamlessly integrates with the website’s back-end. Working in both agency side and with in-house teams, they will report into the Head of Development who will offer crucial support to the direction and outcome of the websites.
