Our client is searching for a brand-oriented Senior Social Media Executive to create an omnichannel message for customers via social media platforms. Our client has a customer-centric attitude and are thriving within the marketplace, but need your help to take their brand further! Based in Manchester City Centre, the business is located near convenient transport links and aim to make working life fun and exciting, within a professional atmosphere.

The ideal candidate is someone who understands trends and can contribute creative and innovative ideas towards campaigns, whilst supporting their team. The successful applicant will be able to deliver high standards of customer service through social media channels to increase customer satisfaction. They must be able to successfully segment and target customers to deliver exciting content in the appropriate time and on the best platform, to successfully appeal to customers and meet the business’ objectives!

Main Roles and Responsibilities of the Senior Social Media Executive:

  • Manage a variety of the brand’s social media accounts.
  • Create content to be shared through social media and to be posted to a blog.
  • Synergise social media communications messages with the brand’s image and other advertising campaigns which coincide.
  • Segment and target customers when supporting the PR manager in producing creative ideas to create integrated social media campaigns.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of content created and produce insights which help the business to improve their strategy.
  • Be able to manage social budgets and tactfully choose when and where to spend.
  • Respond to customers on social media platforms to satisfy queries and helpfully respond to both positive and negative reviews on consumer review sites.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Marketing or Social Media, with some experience in B2C social media management and some customer service experience.
  • Strong editing and proof-reading skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills are required to work well within the team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • PR, brand, copywriting and advertising experience is also a plus.
