A large organisation in the wider transport space is seeking someone to lead its PR and communications function. The organisation has a broad presence across the country and plays an influential role in its field, with particular attention on reputation, public visibility and clear messaging. The environment moves quickly and relies on strong collaboration, sound judgement and the ability to communicate with confidence.
This is a senior role overseeing all PR and communications work and guiding how the organisation interacts with the media, key partners and the public. You would serve as a trusted voice for the organisation, managing press activity, shaping positive stories and offering support during challenging moments. The role is based in the North West with a blend of office and remote working and would suit someone who is comfortable being involved in day to day activity while also thinking and operating at a strategic level.
What you will be doing…
- Leading PR and communications activity across the organisation
- Managing relationships with national press and handling media enquiries
- Writing and overseeing press releases and key messaging
- Supporting crisis communications and ensuring consistent reputation management
- Driving broad awareness and reach through proactive storytelling
