Our client is a fast-growing e-commerce brand dedicated to making life easier for new parents. They specialise in stylish, high-quality baby furniture and nursery essentials, offering a blend of comfort, safety, and beautiful design. Their mission is to create a seamless shopping experience for parents and caregivers while fostering a community of support and trust.

As the Content and Social Media Manager, you will lead the development and execution of the brand’s online presence. This role is perfect for a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, audience engagement, and e-commerce growth. You will be responsible for creating content that resonates with new and expecting parents while driving traffic, sales, and brand loyalty.

Responsibilities.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy across social media, email, and blog platforms to engage target audiences.
  • Manage and grow the company’s social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.), ensuring alignment with the brand voice and values.
  • Plan and execute a content calendar, including creating and scheduling posts, stories, and videos.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, and other team members to produce high-quality, visually appealing content.
  • Write engaging copy that balances product promotion with meaningful, relatable messaging for parents.
  • Monitor trends in parenting, lifestyle, and e-commerce to inform content strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing, ideally within an e-commerce or parenting/lifestyle sector.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and content optimisation.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or similar.
  • Basic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) are a plus.
  • Passion for or experience with parenting, family, or children’s products is highly desirable.
