What is a media sales business?
The media sales sector specialises in selling advertising space and solutions to businesses across a number of different formats like online, TV, radio or Out of Home advertising. The majority of these organisations are headquartered in London but have regional offices in Manchester to service the North where they will have smaller, more sales focussed teams. There is significant spend around seasonal and campaign activity which media sales companies must be prepared for to hit targets and compete for budgets. Roles within this sector involve selling media and advertising space with the majority of the role being focussed on identifying new clients, pitching to them and creating presentations to offer solutions for their briefs.
